Mrs. Tamma Minnick, 69 years old, wife of Ed Minnick of near Mellott, died at her home at 6:30 Wednesday evening after a period of failing health. She and Mr. Minnick, prominent farm folks of Fountain County had been married nearly 50 years. Mrs. Minnick was a daughter of the late India Carpenter and Smith Remster. Besides the husband, she is survived by three children: Mrs. Margaret Royal of Lafayette; Mrs. Elizabeth Haas of Wingate and Thurston Minnick and one brother, Eldon Remster; also 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock Central Standard Time at the North Christian Church of Mellott of which she was long a member. – kbz
