West Lebanon --(CNS)— Funeral services for Donnell Mitchell, 38, farmer residing north of Newtown, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mitchell, two miles east of Newtown. The Rev. William R. Graham, retired Presbyterian minister of Lafayette, will officiate. Burial will be in the Newtown Cemetery with the nc?ffing & Robinson Funeral Home of Attica in charge. The body was taken to the parents residence Friday morning. Mr. Mitchell was found dead in his auto about three miles north of his home about 7 a. m. Thursday (Apr. 26, 1951). A hose had been attached to the exhaust pipe of the car and was extended into the vehicle. The motor of the auto was running when Mitchell's body was found. Fountain County Coroner Charles Fishero of Veedersburg conducted an inquiry and returned the verdict that death was caused by the exhaust fumes. Witnesses reported they had noted the car at the death scene about 6:30 p. m. Wednesday. Newtown---Funeral services for Donnell Mitchell will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mitchell, two miles east of Newtown on State Road 55. Newtown---Funeral services for Donnell Isaac Mitchell, local farmer, were held Saturday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mitchell, two miles east of Newtown. Dr. W. R. Graham, retired pastor of the Central Presbyterian church in Lafayette, conducted the services. Burial was in the Newtown cemetery. Pall bearers were Hardy Gookins, Lee Galloway, J. H. Quigle, Encil Marlatt, Joe Weaver and Russell Switzer. Newtown—(CNS)--Donnell Mitchell, 38, a farmer residing a mile north of Newtown, was found dead in his car about 7 a. m. Thursday (Apr. 26, 1951) about three miles north of his home near the McKinney farm. A hose had been attached to the exhaust pipe of the auto and was extended into the auto. Kenneth Chester, residing northeast of Newtown, found Mitchell's body as he passed the latter's auto while enroute to work in Newtown. The motor of the vehicle was still running. Mitchell was a tenant on the H. S. Schultz farm. Fountain County Coroner Charles Fishero, Veedersburg, investigated and ruled the death premeditated suicide. He said he had consulted relatives and that there was no suspicion of malicious treatment or foul play. Mr. Mitchell was born May 13, 1912 in Danville, the son of Leslie and Beulah Hastings Mitchell of Newtown who survive. He was graduated from the Newtown High School in 1930 and attended the Utterback Business College in Danville. He was married 17 years ago to Sarah Schultz who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Karen, three sons, Jack, Douglas and Rex, all at home, and two brothers, Daniel and William, both of Newtown. The body is at the Coffing & Robinson Funeral Home at Attica. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.   --typed by Walt W
