MITCHELL, Olive Mendenhall - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg – Mrs. Olive Mitchell, 87, life resident of Fountain County died at 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Nursing Home, Lebanon, Ind where she had been a patient. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fishero Funeral Home, Veedersburg with interment in Centennial Cemetery.  Mrs. Mitchell was born Nov 15, 1859 in Fountain County, daughter of Jacob and Delilah Thompson Mendenhall. She was married April 23, 1877 to John W. Mitchell who preceded her in death May 10, 1913.  Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Nettie Johnson, Orlando, Fla; Mrs. Very Smith, Waynetown and Mrs. Irma Oilar, Veedersburg and three sons, Karl, Braffet and Dwight all of Lafayette.  - kbz
