NEWTOWN -- Ray Mitchell, age 75, a native and former resident of Newtown, died Saturday, Sept. 25, at his home in Lakeview, Mich. He had been hospitalized after a stroke, returned home and suffered a second seizure. Surviving are the wife, the former Rhoda Cecil of this area, and several children. Isaac Mitchell of Wingate and L. K. Mitchell of Newtown are cousins. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at Lakeview with burial in a cemetery there. --typed by Walt W
