MITCHELL, Ruby Truman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Ruby Mitchell, 84, died at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday (March 26, 1975) at Covington Manor Health Center. She had been ill since September, 1974. Born Jan. 18, 1891, in Vermillion County, she was the daughter of Earnest and Grace White Truman. On Jan. 14, 1909, she married Don Mitchell, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lindley (Mary Alice) Randolph of Covington, a brother, Leslie Truman of Perrysville Route 1; four grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Thelma Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was formerly of Gessie but had resided with her daughter a year. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeVerter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Karg officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.   – jlr
