E. P. Moore of Kingman, age 82, died Saturday evening, September 11, in LaPorte County Hospital at LaPorte. He was born in Parke County, July 13, 1900, the son of William A. and Bessie Miller Moore. May 20, 1923, he married Geraldine Spencer, who survives.
Moore was a member of the Kingman Christian Church for 67 years and a member of Kingman Boosters Club and Masonic Lodge. Before going into the finance and insurance business for himself, he was employed at the Kingman Bank.
Also surviving are a son, Dr. W. G. Moore of LaPorte; a sister, Aileen Smith of Kingman; and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Kingman Christian Church with Rev. James Lane officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery at Marshall. Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home of Covington was in charge of arrangements. -s
