Waynetown – Mrs. Helen Moore, 80 died at 9:46 p.m. Monday in Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. She was born at Veedersburg and educated in Fountain County.  She had lived at Veedersburg several years until her marriage to Fred Moore in 1923.  He died in 1955.  She later resided at Waynetown a number of years.  Mrs. Moore was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and Family Circle Sunday School Class at the church. Surviving are a son, Harold “Pete” Moore of Crawfordsville; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Virginia Ann) Scott of Waynetown; and a sister, Mrs. Nell Remster of Crawfordsville. - klbz

Helen G. Moore of Waynetown, age 80, died Monday evening, February 8, in Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She was born in Fountain County, October 2, 1901, the daughter of Jasper and LaVina Hysong Timmons. April 21, 1923, she married Fred P. Moore, who died in 1955. Mrs. Moore was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and Friendly Circle Sunday School Class.
  Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Scott of Waynetown; a son, Harold “Pete” of Crawfordsville; a sister, Nell Webster of Lane Nursing Home in Crawfordsville; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
