Robert Francis Moran, age 82, of Attica Rt. 2, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the Pleasant Valley Lodge where he had been a patient four months. He had been in ill health two years. Mr. Moran was born May 19, 1884, in Graston, W.Va., and he was a retired machinist. He worked for the Harrison Steel Castings Co., in Attica, retiring 12 years ago. He was married Oct. 25, 1930, to Ethel Marr, who survives. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Attica. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two stepsons, Jesse Marr and Tom Marr, both of Attica; one step-daughter, Miss Mildred Marr, also of Attica; and one nephew, Bill Moran of California. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at St. Francis Xavier Church. The Rev. Charles Remaklus officiated and burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Attica. – jlr
