Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

VEEDERSBURG—Mrs. Blanche Olive Morehouse, 75, was found dead at her home here at 1 p.m. Monday. Her body was found by a neighbor, Mrs. Bythia Hershberger. Death was attributed to poisoning and was ruled a suicide by Fountain County Coroner Ralph Nelson. Mrs. Morehouse had been in failing health the past year. Born Aug. 28, 1887, in Fountain County, she was a daughter of John and Loretta Craig Stephens. She spent her entire life in the Veedersburg area. Her only survivors are a sister, Mrs. Nell Marsh of Tampa, Fla.; and a brother, James Stephens of Indianapolis. The body was taken to the Fishero Funeral Home here. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.
