ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) – Clinton J. Morgan, 88, of 906 S. Brady, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 29, 1974) at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Ind. He had been ill for one month. He was born east of Stone Bluff, Ind., March 7, 1886, the son of Sylvester and Mary Ellen Skillman Morgan. He was married in October 1905 near Boswell to Ellen Finch, who died in 1936. On March 7, 1944, at Crown Point, he married Nellie Bridgeman Kay, who survives. He attended school at Stone Bluff and resided most of his life in Attica. He had been a farmer, a fireman and an engineer on the Wabash and CAS Railroad. He was a member of the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church. Survivors also include two daughters, Mrs. Zada Ryan of Attica and Mrs. Virginia Scaler of Oakland, Calif., a brother, Glen Morgan of Stone Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, a son and a daughter. Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Edgar Walls officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. – jlr
