Mrs. Edna Blanche Morgan, 69, died at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Lafayette at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Morgan, a former resident of Marshall, had suffered a heart attack Thursday. Born June 26, 1882, at Byron, Indiana she was the daughter of William and Margaret Banta. She was married April 6, 1904 to Homer Morgan, who died May 1, 1928. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Federated church at Marshall. Survivors are a son, Kenneth Morgan, of Pontiac, Mich; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Dietrich of Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Durham of Waveland and Mrs. Robert Miller of Kingman and a granddaughter. Short funeral services will be held at the L.E. Moore & Son Funeral home in Rossville at 9:30 a.m. Monday. The body will then be taken to the Federated church at Marshall where rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home until time for the services. The body will lie in state at the Federated church from noon until 2 p.m. - kbz

Note: I do believe that their son, Kenneth was the nicest man I've ever met.
