Muncie – Jimmy Lee Morgan, 79, formerly of Waveland, Covington and Yorktown, died early Saturday morning, July 30, 2016 at Golden Living Center following an extended illness.  He was born Feb 9, 1937 in Waveland, Indiana, the son of James Harrison and Lois Elizabeth (Miles) Morgan Huxhold and went to be with the Lord after many years of being confined to a wheel chair.  A swimming accident in July of 1951 left him paralyzed at the age of 14 leaving him with limited use of his hands and arms.  Jimmy had an abominable spirit and despite his handicap he educated himself and ran a successful accounting business for 25 years until he was forced to retire due to health issues. He was a member of the World Wide Church of God and enjoyed everything about Airplanes and the US Marine Corps. Survivors include his four brothers, Max Morgan (wife, Karen) Covington, Mike Huxhold and Gary Huxhold both of Muncie and Stan Huxhold (wife, Toni), Warsaw; one sister, Judy Shull (husband, Jerry), Muncie; a special nephew Chris Morgan (wife Lucy) Covington and several other nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Goodman; one sister-in-law, Valerie Huxhold.  Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 4, 2016 at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Larry Waters officiating.  Burial will follow at the Union Eaton Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday Aug 4, 2016 at the Parson Mortuary.
