MORGAN, Lillie M. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lillie M. Morgan, 60, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Veedersburg, died at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital. She was a resident of Ben Hur Nursing Home. Mrs. Morgan had lived in Fountain County since 1969. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene at Veedersburg, was a member of the Veedersburg-Van Buren Fire Department Auxiliary and was a former employee at Radio Materials Corp. at Attica. She was born Dec. 4, 1937, in Kentucky to William Sherman and Ruby E. Turner Hendon. She married Robert Morgan on May 14, 1955, in Mississippi. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Katie Wray of Crawfordsville and Kathy Fuller of Veedersburg; three sisters, Mary Smotheran and Roberta Myers, both of Murray, Ky., and Linda Dockins of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a nephew. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Church of the Nazarene at Veedersburg with the Rev. Edwin Retter officiating. Burial will be in Coal Springs Cemetery at Veedersburg.
