Otterbein—Ralph W. Morgan, 80, 70 Timmons St., Otterbein, was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical center, Lafayette, at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 1989, apparently of a heart attack.
  He was born Aug. 28, 1908 near Otterbein and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was married in December 1939 in Otterbein, to Harriett Bess Follick, who survives.
  He graduated from Otterbein High School in 1927. After farming with his father several years, he studied to become an electrical contractor. He worked as an electrician in Benton, Warren, and Tippecanoe counties for many years.
  Surviving besides his wife is a brother, Homer, Route 2, Otterbein. He was preceded in death by a brother, Weldon and a sister, Lucy Norwood.
  Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Steely Funeral Home Chapel, Otterbein, with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial was in Pond Grove Cemetery, near Otterbein.
