Attica – Robert G. Morgan, 83, a retired farmer died at 9:45 p.m. Monday in Davis Manor, West Lafayette. He had lived at the Manor since 1983. He formerly resided at 127 Ruby Road in Attica. Born Jan 6, 1902 in rural Attica, he was educated in Antioch School in Davis Twp and was a graduate of Lafayette Business College.  He had resided in Riverside and Newtown but had lived most of his life in the Attica area.  He was married here in 1924 to Margaret T. Leaf who died in 1978.  Mr. Morgan was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church, Newtown Masonic Lodge 205 F&AM and Newtown Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 282.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph E (Norman) Spoor and Mrs. Robert L (Connie) Brown both of Lafayette; one son, C. Keith Morgan of Lebanon and a sister, Chrystal Morris of Mesa, Ariz. – kbz

Robert G. Morgan, 83, formerly of 127 Ruby Road, Attica, who had been residing at Davis Manor in West Lafayette since 1983, died at the nursing center Monday, Jan. 28, at 9:45 a.m.   He was born in rural Attica Jan. 6, 1902, the son of Harrison and Emma Cordelia Fisher Morgan.  He had formerly resided in the Riverside and Newtown areas and had been a resident of Attica most of his life.  He attended Antioch School in Davis Township and was a graduate of the Lafayette Business College.  He was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Attica First United Methodist Church, Newtown Lodge Masonic Lodge No. 205 F.&A.M., Newtown Order of Eastern Star No. 282.  He was married Nov. 8, 1924, in Attica, to Margaret T. Leaf, who preceded in death Nov. 17, 1978.    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph E. (Norma) Spoor, Lafayette, and Mrs. Robert L. (Connie) Brown, Lafayette; one son, C. Keith Morgan, Lebanon; one sister, Chrystal Morris, Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating.  Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.    Masonic services were conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the Newtown Masonic Lodge.     Those serving as pallbearers were Bob Vester, Roger Carlson, Gerald Morgan, Brian Morgan, Ron Bryan, and Steve Page. - S
