MORNOUT, Frank - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for Frank Mornout, age 70, of 610 Helms St., Veedersburg, and father of Mrs. Margaret Smith and Leroy Mornout of Covington, who died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at his home, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sever Funeral Home in Veedersburg. The Rev. August Stork officiated and burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery, south of Veedersburg. Mr. Mornout was born Dec. 27, 1893, in Fountain County, the son of Edward and Amelia Wisteace Mornout. He farmed and had operated a service station at Covington and Brownsburg. The past few years he had operated bicycle repair shop at his home. Surviving are: his wife, the former June Smith; one daughter, Mrs. Smith of Covington; two sons, Leroy of Covington and Ralph (Jack) Mornout of Veedersburg; one brother, Charles, of Williamsport; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.   --typed by Walt W
