COVINGTON — David A. Moudy, age 72, of Covington, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient one day. Mr. Moudy was born Feb. 13, 1898, in Warren County, Ind., the son of Robert and Jane Switzer Moudy. He was married to Lula Newkird on Nov. 1, 1914, and she preceded him in death Aug. 6, 1968. He was a member of the Cooper Chapel Church. He had been a farmer most of his life. He also had worked at General Motors for about five years. He was a life resident of Fountain and Warren counties. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Willard (Dorothy) Williams of Covington; one sister, Mrs. Marie Noll of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. --typed by Walt W
