Covington - Lillian V. Moudy, 64, of Rt 2 died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday (28th) in her home near Foster. Mrs. Moudy attended First Baptist Church of Covington. She was a homemaker. Born Oct 31, 1916 at Danville, Illinois she was a daughter of Frederick and Nannie Rodenbaugh Schumaker. In 1937, she married Robert T. Moudy, who preceded her in death (note: 24 Jan 1968). She is survived by a son, Robert of Sidell, Ill; four daughters, Mrs. Bill (Linda) Nickle of Greenville, SC; Mrs. Clifford (Connie) Smith of Lakewood, Colo; Mrs. Robert (Carol) Powell of Zionsville and Mrs. Tom (Gayle) Spring of Covington; her father, Frederick Schumaker of Catlin, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Pouillard of Danville, Ill; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded by her mother. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with Dr. Gregg Curtis and Rev. Glenn Ray Jr officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. - kbz

Lillian V. Moudy of RR 2, Covington, age 64, died Tuesday morning, April 28, at her home near Foster. She was born at Danville, Illinois, October 31, 1916, the daughter of Frederick and Nannie Rodenbaugh Schumaker. In 1937, she married Robert T. Moudy, who preceded her in death. She attended the Covington First Baptist Church.

  Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Linda Nickle of Greenville, South Carolina, Mrs. Connie Smith of Lakewood, Colorado, Mrs. Carol Powell of Zionsville and Mrs. Gayle Spring of Covington; a son, Robert of Sidell, Illinois; her father of Catlin, Illinois; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Pouilliard of Danville, Illinois; and 15 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Dr. Gregg Curtis and Rev. Glenn Ray Jr. officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
