Crawfordsville—Vernace Murdock, 93, 811 ½ Danville Ave., Crawfordsville, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 1989 in Culver Union Hospital.
  She was born June 24, 1895 at Yeddo, the daughter of Charles and Eva Jane Purnell Lough. She was married March 18, 1913 at Hillsboro to William Murdock, who preceded her in death Dec. 3, 1954.
  She had been a resident of Crawfordsville for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker, formerly of Hillsboro, where she was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She attended Hillsboro schools.
  Surviving are three sons, Wilmer, Brownsburg, and Lex and Charles, both of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Janet) Wilson and Mrs. Robert M. (Micki) Stephens, both of Crawfordsville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; a step great grandchild and four great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, two great granddaughters and a sister.
  Private graveside services were Saturday at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating.
  Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, was in charge of arrangements.
