Covington ---(CNS)— Mrs. Emma Hegg Murphy, 82, died at her home in Covington at 2 a. m. Sunday. The body will remain at home until 2 p. m. Tuesday when funeral services will be held in Bodine and Shelby's Funeral Home with the Rev. D. R. Minton of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Murphy was born Sept. 15, 1864, daughter of Martin and Mary Jane Phebus. Her first husband, Frederick Hegg, died in 1908. Her second husband, Dennis Murphy, to whom she was married June 29, 1913, died in 1931. She is survived by these children: Miss Celia Hegg and Doyt Hegg, both at home; Walter, Ambrose and Sprosen Hegg, all of Covington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
