VEEDERSBURG – Ethel Bernice
(McMurtrie) Murphy, 91, formerly of the Lafayette and Veedersburg area, died at
3:34 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2002 in Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport.
She was born Nov. 13, 1910 in Fountain County. Funeral services were at 3 p.m.
Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Burial was in Old Baptist Cemetery, west
of Newtown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fountain County Humane
