Charles A. (Bert) Murray, age 85, a native of Covington and father of Mrs. Wilma Moore of 614 Fifth St., died at about noon Tuesday, April 7, enroute to a hospital in Orlando, Fla., where he made his home. Mr. Murray was born Jan. 28, 1879 in Covington, the son of George D. and Emeline Higbee Murray. He and his wife, the former Bessie May Smith, were married more than 60 years ago. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: the daughter, Mrs. Moore of Covington; one son, Dr. Charles A. Murray of Orlando, Fla.; and five grandchildren. The body will be returned to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. --typed by Walt W
