James Vernon Murray, aged 43, a poultry dealer of Covington died at 7 o’clock Thursday morning at his home after a long illness.  Mr. Murray was born Aug 6, 1900 in Berning Springs, Ky the son of George and Mary Rollings Murray.  In 1921 he was married to Lillian Hubbard who survives with three children, Staff Sgt Rollie Murray stationed at West Overfield, Mass and Carol Fay and Jackie at home. Military services for Mr. Murray who served eight months overseas in WWI will be held at 5:30 Saturday evening at the Crumley funeral home. The body will be at the residence in Covington until 4:30 Saturday afternoon when it will be taken to the funeral home for services.  Burial will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery, Covington. - kbz
