MYERS, Charles A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Charles A. Myers, 83, long-time auctioneer in this area, died Tuesday at his home on Rt 4, Ottawa. A heart attack was the cause of death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Centropolis Christian Church in Ottawa, Rev. R.W. Browning, Jr. will be in charge and burial in Union Cemetery, Ottawa. Survivors include Mrs. Myers of the home; 5 sons - Howard, Claude, George and Fred of Ottawa and Charles Myers, Jr. of Florence; two daughters - Mrs. Leslie Churchbaugh, Rt 2, Lawrence; and Mrs. Norman Watts of Ottawa; a half-brother, Sam VanHuss of Wellsville; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday for Charles A. Myers, 83, a long-time auctioneer in this area who died Tuesdya at his home near Ottawa. Services will be in the Christian Church at Centropolis. Rev. R.W. Browning, Jr. will be in charge and burial in Union Cemetery, Ottawa.
