 Clarence Alva Myers of Crawfordsville, age 92, died Wednesday afternoon, December 2, in Lane House Nursing Center at Crawfordsville. He was born in Fountain County, July 17, 1889, the son of David S. and Mary Ellen Etter Myers. December 10, 1913, he married Mary Gray, who died January 2, 1931. February 11, 1935, he married Georgia Dowden, who died May 23, 1964. Myers was a farmer in the Alamo and Waveland communities and had also been employed at the casket factory in Crawfordsville, retiring in 1956.
  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Esther Lamson and Mrs. Alice May Ingersol, both of Waynetown; a son, Ralph of Waynetown; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Dora Allen of Lafayette, Mrs. Irene Grabman and Mrs. Genevieve Hudson, both of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Roy of Alamo and Byron of Scandia, Minnesota; six grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several step great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial was in Alamo Cemetery. – thanks to S
