MYERS, Emsley Jackson

Marshall -- EJ Myers, 75, died Sunday at 4 p.m. at his home, RFD 1, Marshall.  Born December 19, 1877 in Parke County, he was the son of Henry and Sarah Myers.  Mr. Myers was a member of the Wallace F & AM No. 495 and of the Wallace OES No. 415.  He served as a chairman of the Parke County Agricultural Conservation Association from 1943 through 1946 and was a charter member of the Parke County REMC.  Surviving are the widow, Maude, two sons, Paul RFD 1, Marshall and Olaf, Bounevard, California; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Derickson of Terre Haute; a brother, Ared F. Myers, RFD 1, Marshall and four grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Wolf Creek Church.  Rev. John Servies will be in charge and burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemtery.  Friends may call at the Branson Funeral Home in Rockville after noon Tuesday.
