Forein Myers of RR 1, Waynetown, age 85, died Sunday evening July 4 in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville.  He was born near Wallace, January 24, 1897, the son of Charles E. and Florence Nelson Myers.  August 20, 1916, he married Jewell Starns, who died in 1970.  A retired farmer and truck driver, he resided in the Wallace community until 1946 when he moved to a farm south of Waynetown.  He was a member of the Freedom Christian Church, a 50-year member of Wallace Masonic Lodge and a member of Wallace Low 12 Club.  Survivors include six daughters, Phyllis Pryor; Margie Calder and Mildred Jones, all of Crawfordsville; Wanda Duffin of Speedway, Mary Davis of Waynetown and Delores Jordan of Orange Grove, California; three sons, Raymond of Lake Wales, Florida, Charles and William both of Crawfordsville; a sister, Velma Myers of Crawfordsville; 34 grandchildren and 32 greats.  Funeral services were held this morning, Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Jack Austin officiating.  Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  - kbz
