Hillsboro – Glen Myers, 65, a life resident of Fountain County died early Friday morning at his home, one mile south of Hillsboro. He had been ill several months with a heart ailment. Born Sept 7, 1880 near Hillsboro, the son of James Daniel and Viola Myers. He married Nellie Stevens who survives.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Wallace and had devoted most of his life to farming.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wreatha Lighty of near Attica and Mrs. Gladys Craig of Hillsboro; three sons, all serving in the Navy, James Arthur Myers, chief torpedoman’s mate on the submarine UUS Tarron; Raymond O Myers of the USS Phoenix and Dallas Myers; two brothers, Orma Myers of Wallace and Robert Myers of Hillsboro; a sister, Mrs. Bessie McCollum of Hillsboro and eight grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
