Mary Sophia Myers, age 92, passed away Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Scott Nursing Home in Lafayette, where she had been since June. Cause of death was an acute cardiac dilatation. She had lived in Williamsport for the past 70 years. She was born January 10, 1855 in New York State, the daughter of Martin Dannecker and Christiana Stinebrenner. She was married on December 17, 1884 to Luther N. Myers, who preceded her in death November 8, 1922. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one nephew, Martin C. Dannecker of New York, New York. Body is at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Williamsport where friends may call after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Harold R. Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. – thanks to S
