Mrs. Myrtle Philpott Myers, 72 years of age well known Yeddo resident died early Saturday March 15. She was the wife of Perry Myers and they had lived in Millcreek township ever since their marriage in 1898. Besides the husband there are surviving six children: Mrs. Ruby Smith of Covington; Mrs. Luta Campbell of Downers Grove, Ill; Mrs. Mary Glascock of Yeddo; Ralph of Wallace; Harry of Yeddo and Robert of Chicago. Also there are a brother, Winfield Philpott of Yakima, Wash and a half sister, Ida Booe of Danville; also 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Centennial Church where the body had lain in state one hour prior to the services. Interment took place in Centennial Cemetery.
