Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Pearl Myers, 81, of Rt 4, Ottawa will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Centropolis Christian Church. Burial will be in the Centropolis Cemetery. Mrs. Myers died Saturday night at her home in Centropolis. She was a life-long resident of Centropolis and a member of the Christian Church there. She was born Jan 6, 1883 at Lawrence. Survivors are 5 sons, Fred Myers of Rt 1, Baldwin, Howard, Claude and George Myers of Rt 4, Ottawa and Charles A. Myers, Jr. of Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Churchbaugh of Rt 2, Lawrence and Mrs. Norman Watts of Ottawa; one brother, Fred Allen of Topeka, 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Myers who died in October 1959. Towners Chapel at Ottawa is in charge of arrangements.
Note: Although she was born and raised in Kansas her parents were born and lived in Fountain County.
