West Point—Fronie Palin, 95, Route 1, West Point, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 1989, at Otterbein Care Center.
  She was born Sept. 20, 1893, near Covington. She lived in the Covington and Attica areas before moving to West Point in 1936. She was first married Feb. 2, 1917, to Charles R. Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death in 1918. On March 12, 1936, she married Carl H. Palin, who preceded her in death in 1963.
  She attended Newtown High School.
  She was a member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church and various organizations of the church. She also was a member of Order of Easter Star, Shawnee Lodge, Jackson Township Research Club and Home Extension Club.
  Surviving are a son, Charles R. Kirkpatrick, Route 1, Wingate; two stepsons, Harmond Palin, Dallas, Texas and Jack Palin, Roswell, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gus (Susan) King, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Bill (Jean) Howard, Newtown; a sister, Rebecca Fairchild, Covington; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. Burial was in Meharry Cemetery. – thanks to S
