Miss Ida Palmore, a former resident of Hillsboro, died Saturday in a Chicago hospital, after having been ill for several months. Miss Palmore had recently made her home in Hammon, Ind., with a niece, Mrs. Beulah Compton. Born in Glasgow, Ky., she was the daughter of William and Emma Palmore. She was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin. Graveside services were held Monday afternoon at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, with Rev. Charles Marshall officiating.  --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO, Ind. (CNS) - Miss Ida Palmore of Hammond and formerly of Hillsboro died yesterday (July 15, 1967) in a Chicago hospital. She had been in ill health for several months. Born in Glasgow, Ky., she was the daughter of William and Emma Palmore. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Beulah Compton of Hammond. Miss Palmore was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin. She was employed in Chicago as a hatmaker. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Hillsboro with the Rev. Charles Marshall of Hillsboro officiating. The Crumley-Williams Funeral Home of Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.   -- typed by CA.
