John Parent who has been the station agent for the C. and E. I. at Tangier for the past 10 or 12 years, died last Sunday evening about 9 o’clock of Brights disease, having been afflicted for some time. He was a man about 45 years of age and leaves a wife, six children a father and two brothers besides a number of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The decedent was a member of Fountain No. 24 K. of P. who officiated in the burial ceremonies held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Arehart of Roachdale conducted the funeral. Interment was made in the Tangier cemetery.
