VEEDERSBURG — Arthur J. Parker, 82, of Rt. 1, died Thursday in an ambulance en route to a hospital. Death was unexpected. A native of Muncie, he had farmed in this community before retiring. He was a member of the Christian Church of Muncie, Ill., and of the Modern Woodmen Lodge of Judson. In 1907 he married Rose Pulliam, who survives. Besides the widow, he is survived by two sons, Elmo of Newtown and Forrest of Lafayette; by two daughters, Mrs. Jim Powell, Covington, and Mrs. Ray Greenmore, Attica; and by two sisters, Mrs. Emma West, Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. Jerry Williams, Champaign, Ill. -- typed by Walt W
