VEEDERSBURG --- Mrs. Minnie Parkerson, 87, widow of William F. Parkerson, died Monday afternoon in the Rudisill Nursing Home at Covington where she had been a patient several weeks. Born Nov. 30, 1878 in Richland Township, Fountain County, Mrs. Parkerson was the daughter of William and Keziah Tanner. She married Mr. Parkerson June 11, 1899. The husband died in May, 1961. Mrs. Parkerson was a member of the United Church of Christ in Mellott for over 70 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leon Wilma Wiggins of Veedersburg and Mrs. Howard Kathryn Holland of Attica; a son, Dale Parkerson of Fort Wayne, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Gusta Smith of Mellott and Mrs. Cora Brown of Bismark, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.   --typed by Walt W
