Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Attica, Ind. (CNS)--Mrs. Eva Parks, 501 1/2 S. Perry St., Attica, died in the Alward Nursing Home at 2:50 a.m. today ( June 10, 1967) where she had been a patient since May 23. She was born at Mt. Sterling, Ky., Aug. 31, 1883, the daughter of Henry and Amanda Williams. She was married in Veedersburg in 1903 to Mace Parks who preceded her in death in 1935. She had come from Kentucky to Veedersburg and also lived in Williamsport but had spent most of her life in Attica. She had fallen in her home April 9 and sustained a broken hip. She had been hospitalized from April 9 to May 23 when she was transferred to the nursing home. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lois Schwartz of Attica, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the DeSutter Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Monday. Services will be at the DeSutter Funeral Home Tuesday at 10 a. m. with the Rev. James Nealeigh officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Attica.   --typed by Walt W
