SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Marion
“Ted” Parks, died Monday, June 5, 2006 in Sacramento, Calif. He was born in
1920 in Hillsboro. He was in the Air Force for 14 years and retired from
McClellan Air Force Base in 1976. After retirement, he enjoyed golf and working
in his woodshop. He was looking forward to the upcoming birth of two
great-grandchildren. Survivors include: his wife, Joanne; daughters, Sandra
(Hank), Becky (Mike), and Gloria Lynn Miller, Indianapolis; granddaughters,
Chelle, Kristi, Abbey, and Katie. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle
Lee. A celebration of life was at 10 a.m. Monday in East Lawn Memorial Park. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. – jlr
