Veedersburg, Jan. 30—Frank Parnell, age 86, Veedersburg resident, who was injured a week ago when he walked in the path of a car driven by George McManegal, died Saturday night at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. He had been in a critical condition since the accident.  The deceased was born on Dec. 1, 1857 near Attica, and was a life resident of Fountain County.  His wife, the former Sarah Getts, preceded him in death by eleven years.  Those surviving include two sons, Charles of Crawfordsville and Cecil of Darlington and a stepson, James Bonames, of Bloomington, Ill. Two brothers, Monte and Ulysses, reside in California. The remains were brought to the H. C. Fishero Funeral Home where funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Rev. Charles E. Howard officiated. Burial was in the Bonebrake Cemetery. – S
