Veedersburg, Nov 19 - Mrs. Indiana Patterson, 86, lifelong resident of Fountain County, died at her home south of here on US Highway 41 Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Death was due to infirmities of old age. Born April 1, 1856, the daughter of John Mack and Charity Furr Baily. She was married many years ago to Andrew Patterson, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Centennial United Brethren Church. The survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emma Myers and Mrs. May McCormick, both of whom live on farm homes near their mother, one son, John Patterson of Covington; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a half sister, Mrs. Ruby Heughton of Danville, Ill and a stepmother, Mrs. Lillian Baily also of Danville. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Centennial United Brethren Church south of Veedersburg. Burial in Centennial Church Cemetery. The body will be at Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg until Friday afternoon when it will be removed to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Myers, where friends may pay their respects until time for the funeral.
