Covington—Mrs. Flora Patton, 79, of Covington, widow of Isaac Patton, died at 3 o’clock Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient for 23 days. Death was the result of complications arising from a broken arm. She had been in ill health during the past four years.

  She was born July 23, 1867 in Warren County, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Steeley Fields.
  Surviving are a brother, John Fields, of Covington, and two sons, Russell and Louis, both of Covington. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

  Funeral service Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home with Rev. B.R. Minton in charge. Burial in Upper Mound Cemetery. -s
