VEEDERSBURG — Robert W. Patton, 77, died at 3:30 p.m. at Carle Clinic in Urbana, Ill., where he had been a patient since April 12. Mr. Patton was born in Veedersburg on July 31, 1888, a son of Edward and Ella Belle Mitchell Patton. A graduate of Veedersburg High School, he attended Purdue University. Mr. Patton was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion at Newport and a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge No. 491 at Veedersburg. He is survived by his wife Leona. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Dyson officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday. --typed by Walt W
