Benjamin S. Pavey, a native of Fountain County died Tuesday night at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at age 101 years. Mr. Pavey had made his home in Crawfordsville for many years and was one of the oldest residents of this area.
He was born in Fountain County June 3, 1847 the son of David and Polly Ann Stephenson Pavey. He was married in 1868 to Sarah Malind Lewis who died in 1924. He is survived by a daughter and five sons. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Crawfordsville.
