Word has been received by Mrs. Wayne Marlatt, 908 Garfield, of the death of her uncle, Charles E. Pavey, 71, of South bend, Ind., a former resident of Danville, and the Illiana area. He died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday (July 21, 1970) at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Born Feb 3, 1899 in Fountain County, Ind., near Kingman, he was the son of Issac and Flora Rardin Pavey. He attended school in Indiana. Survivors inclufe the widow, Barbara; two sons, Roger and Phillip; and two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Lura Jean) Bunch, and Mrs. Joe (Nancy Beth) Mankowski, all of the South Bend area; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. E. Pearl Lindley; one brother, Austin, and his first wife, Ada Richardson Pavey. Services will be at 2 p.m. (DST) Thursday at Forrest G. Hay Funeral Home, South Bend.   --- typed by CA.
