Stanley L. Pavey, a former Covington resident who was born in Fountain County, died Monday morning, Dec. 5, at the Memorial Clinic in Indianapolis. Mr. Pavey had lived in the capital city for 43 years, movng there from Covington. He was a retired Marion County courthouse clerk. His parents were Benjamin S. and Melinda Lewis Pavey. Mr. Pavey was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church in Indianapolis and the Ben Hur Masonic Lodge of Crawfordsville. Surviving are his wife, Carrie Boyd Pavey; one sister, Miss Cora M. Pavey of Indianapolis; two brothers, Everett and Garfield, both of Crawfordsville. Services will he held in Indianapolis and Covington. First services were held at 3 p. m. this afternoon at the Flanner & Buchanon Fall Creek Mortuary in Indianapolis. Services in Covington will be at 1 p. m. (CST) Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Friends may call after 10 a. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
