Covington, July 8 - Mrs. Edith May Payne, 37, wife of Archie Payne, died at her home in Covington early Saturday morning after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband and three children: Paul; Louis and Gerald and her father, George M. Fowler. The family were former residents of Waynetown having moved here a few years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church in Covington Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. OW McGaughey with burial at Waynetown Cemetery. -- kbz
