ATTICA — Dorothy Ellen (Fisher) Pearl, 87, 512 E. Monroe St., Attica, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. She was born Sept. 25, 1914 in Riverside, the daughter of Harley R. and Bessie S. Williams Fisher. She married George John Pearl Oct. 7, 1933 in Covington. He preceded in death Sept. 11, 1996. She grew up in Riverside and attended Attica High School. She lived in Davis and Logan Townships until moving to Attica in 1972. She worked as a cook in the cafeteria for the Attica Consolidated School Corp. for many years. She was a member of the Attica Christian Church, Upper Level Senior Citizens, Merry-Go-Round Club, Jolly Friends Club and Bunco Club. Survivors include: a son, Dr. Gary (Sandy) Pearl, Bloomington, Ill.; four daughters, Janet (Jenner) Sundt, Connersville, Rita (Larry) Terrell, Spartanburg, S.C., and twins, Pamela Zellers, Houston, Texas and Penny (Denny) Byers, Attica; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two great-granddaughters and a brother, Harley Fisher, Jr. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Bob Elness officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday). Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Christian Church, Attica Foundation or the Attica-Williamsport Senior Citizens Center. – jlr
