Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Frank Pearl, Sr., 92, R. R. 2, Attica, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1976, at 11:095 p.m. He had been ill six months and a patient at the hospital since Monday. He was born on Attica R. R. 1, Feb 1, 1884, the son of Frank F. and Catherine Van Dame Pearl. He had lived near Odell all his life and on R. R. 2 for 45 years. In 1907, at Attica, he married Jennie Alenduff, who preceded him in death in 1932. He attended the Meharry School south of Odell and was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Surviving are three sons, Frank (Tub) of Attica R 2, George and Floyd of Attica; one daughter, Mrs. Orville (Elma) Carlson of R. 2, Attica; three brothers, John of Attica, Joe of Lebanon and George of Rocky Ford, Colo.; ten grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Dale Maus Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Father Edward Matuszak officiating. Burial in Salem Cemetery.   --- typed by CA.
