Attica – James Braynard Pearson, 68 of Macon, Mo died unexpectedly of a probable heart attack in the home of Mrs. Fern Pearson at Riverside at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. He and his wife were visiting there. Born in Attica, he was a veteran of WWI and retired strip mine employee and was married to Mabel Dell at Macon in 1935. Surviving with the widow are a stepson, EB Davison of Springfield, Ill; a stepdaughter, Mrs. VR Cheener, of Newburgh; four brothers, Vern, Robert and Thomas of Attica and Joseph of Orange City, Fla and two sisters, Mrs. Laura White and Mrs. Leona Carroll of Riverton, Wyo. – kbz
