Robert Hinkle Pearson, age 60, of Attica Rt. 2, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, in the Indiana State Hospital for Chest Diseases at Rockville where he had been a patient three months. He had been ill since August. Mr. Pearson was born in Attica on Sept. 24, 1906, the son of Enoch and Elizabeth Taylor Pearson. He was married July 19, 1960, in Williamsport to Hazel Abbott, who survives. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Attica and a former member of the Indiana National Guard. He was a former employee of the Harrison Steel Castings Co. and for the past seven years had been employed in the maintenance department of the Radio and Materials Corp., Attica. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are; one brother, Joe Pearson of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Laura White and Mrs. Leona Carrol, both of Riverton, Wyo.; six step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. The Rev. R. D. Snell officiated and burial was in the Bethel Cemetery, east of Attica.   --typed by Walt W
